The science behind bello & Fitto: Near Infrared (NIR) Technology
To deliver such consistent and accurate body composition measurements, bello utilizes a technology called NIR.
NIR (Near Infrared) technology refers to an electromagnetic wavelength corresponding to about 780 to 2500 nm. NIR tissue measurements have been used to measure tissue chromophores to explain the health status of humans so far, e.g., pulse oximeter.
bello's real-time tissue measurements are made quantitatively in spectral regions of about 650 to 1100 nm. The device uses the light source of 8-wavelength NIR LED (Light Emitting Diodes) to calculate oxy-hemoglobin, deoxy-hemoglobin, water, and lipid by measuring tissue absorption and scattering during photon migrations.
This allows bello to bring its customers trustworthy body composition readings, setting it apart from competitor brands. So try out bello and see how it can change your lifestyle!
